Bombardier (NI) Foundation

Footprints Women’s Centre was pleased to receive a donation this month from Bombardier (NI) Foundation which will support the development of our Environmental Action Project this year.

This is the second year we have received assistance from Bombardier (NI) Foundation and this donation will enable the Centre to build on the success of our Food Growing Project ‘The Kitchen Garden’ and our Eco Adventure Club.

The mentoring programme for Footprint’s Garden Group will continue to build the skills for the group to grow fruit and vegetables in the Centre’s grounds and to bring these skills to develop the gardens in their own homes in the Colin Neighbourhood.

The Eco Adventure group will expand to enable more families to have some fun together and learn about our natural environment.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Bombardier (NI) Foundation for their generous donation.
